The women behind the scenes of Agnes B designs believes that fashion does not have to be complicated, high-end designs to make a person beautiful, which is why Agnes B designs focus on simplicity with an incredibly fresh outlook on her business with fresh, crisp and modern designs. Agnes Trouble, the woman behind Agnes B designs, she studied in Paris prior to working with French Elle as a junior editor. She then assisted Dorothee Bis, the designer, as a stylish. She worked on the side as a freelance designer until 1975 when she founded her very own Parisian boutique.

Agnes B designs are simple yet instill confidence in the person wearing them. She brings elegance, simplicity and timeless designs to the table. It has been known that Agnes does not attend or shop at catwalk shows, as she would prefer to receive her inspiration for her designs by people-watching rather than the catwalk. Because she believes that people come before fashion any day, she is more than content with remaking a piece from a previous collection/season should it be requested by a customer.



Agnes B designs has more than 118 boutiques located worldwide and two of her most popular pieces are press-studded cotton jackets and snap cardigans. Fortunately, for Agnes, she hasn’t spent a dime on advertising yet has grown so well all over the world. Offering clothing for babies, teenagers and adults, including expecting women, Agnes B designs has something for anyone and everyone. Agnes has two feet in the creative world, as she is not only a clothing designer, but also a film producer, photographer and art collector. She owns two art galleries, a cinema production company and a modern art magazine. It is safe to say that Agnes is ingenious.
